Nikon collaborates with artists, makes the Z fc even more gorgeous

In my humble opinion, the Nikon Z fc is probably the most gorgeous-looking mirrorless camera. And Nikon has taken it a step further, combining photography with fine art. In a collaboration with HERALBONY, they have transformed the Zfc into a canvas and gave it a beautiful, artistic twist.

HERALNBONY is a company devoted to creating value and culture through artistic expression. The collaboration with Nikon offers a premium exterior for the Nikon Zfc, integrating customizable, leather-textured materials with striking artwork by HERALBONY-contracted artists. So, you won’t only make art with your Z fc – you’ll also own a piece of art with it, in a way.

Nikon selected four designs from over 2,000 pieces curated by HERALBONY. The final choices were made through an internal Nikon survey and consultations with HERALBONY. These artworks adorn the camera body, offering users the same experience as finding their favorite piece in a gallery. Each camera also includes an exclusive welcome screen featuring the artwork and comes in specially designed packaging.

The collaboration introduces four options, each priced at £1,229 (around $1,555 USD), and available with black or silver base:

• Nikon | HERALBONY Zfc Black + 28/2.8 SE kit – Masahiro Fukui
• Nikon | HERALBONY Zfc Black + 28/2.8 SE kit – Masaharu Honda
• Nikon | HERALBONY Zfc Black + 28/2.8 SE kit – Momoko Eguchi

Beyond its enhanced aesthetics, the HERALBONY Zfc keeps the specs like the regular version (it’s only a bit pricier). I personally like all four of these a lot… And if I had money to spare, I’d definitely choose one of these options if I decided to switch to mirrorless. I know it’s not the greatest camera out there, but hey – I think it still beats my D7000. :)
