Other than the new OM-3 camera, OM SYSTEM has announced something to pair it with. It has expanded its lens lineup with three new M.Zuiko Digital lenses: the 100-400mm f/5-6.3 IS, 17mm f/1.8, and 25mm f/1.8. These lenses cater to different types of photographers, from wildlife enthusiasts to street shooters. So, let’s take a closer look at what each lens offers.
M.Zuiko Digital ED 100-400mm f/5-6.3 IS

The 100-400mm f/5-6.3 IS is a telephoto zoom built for nature and sports photographers who need reach without carrying a massive lens. Offering a 35mm equivalent focal length of 200-800mm, it allows you to get close to distant subjects while staying lightweight compared to similar full-frame lenses.
OM SYSTEM has included in-lens image stabilization to help counteract camera shake, and it works alongside the camera’s in-body stabilization when paired with compatible models. Autofocus is fast and quiet, making it a solid option for both photography and video.
While the aperture range of f/5-6.3 isn’t the brightest, it’s a trade-off for the lens’s relatively compact size and 1.12kg weight. For even more reach, the lens is compatible with OM SYSTEM’s MC-14 1.4x and MC-20 2x teleconverters, extending its maximum focal length to 1600mm equivalent.
